Sambuca: Dinner, drinks and live entertainment abound

Apr 1, 2010

The Gulch area of town has become quite the trendy spot for the locals and Sambuca adds to its appeal. Sambuca’s the place to partake in dinner, drinks, live music and a buzzing atmosphere.

The story of Sambuca all began with a small eclectic location in an artsy, warehouse district of Dallas which later found its way to the Music City to charm the locals. The restaurant has become recognized for combining fine dining with live music seven nights a week.

The music spans a variety of styles, including pop, soft rock, jazz and rhythm and blues. Nashville’s calendar of musical artists includes acts such as the Peter Moon Band, Sharif Iman, Laura Vida and more.

Like the music, the menu at Sambuca offers a variety of items that satisfy every taste bud. From pizzas, calamari and other shared appetizers to grilled beef tenderloin and miso-glazed sea bass, the menu is sure to please everyone. Even the subheads of the menu beg those dining in to give all the items listed a thorough once-over: “Using Our Noodles” represents the pasta items such as Mediterranean veggie lasagna and shrimp pomodoro; “Off the Hook” feature the seafood items such as crab-stuffed salmon and chili-rubbed scallops; and “From the Range” features grilled items such as ribeye and filet.

And if it’s not the food that piques your interest, the décor will. The supper club features an eclectic European design and a rooftop patio that overlooks the Nashville skyline. Choose an intimate private booth or sip a martini at the bar to see and be scene.

Restaurant hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. during the week with the bar opened later Thursday-Saturday.
