Beyond the Edge; where the motto is work hard, play harder

Published: Mar 11, 2009

Situated in East Nashville’s popular Five Points, Beyond The Edge is a favorite bar and eatery for locals and newcomers. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed.  The food is tasty and affordable.  And every day, the bar offers a different Happy Hour special.

Within the two adjoining dining rooms, chose a seat at one of the many 4-top tables, high top tables or bar seats.  A full-service wait staff keeps the glasses full and brings the food hot.  Don’t worry about missing the game; flat screen TVs surround the bar and dining room.  Grab some buddies and watch your favorite team play in the big game.  Enthusiastic fans are welcomed!

The menu at Beyond the Edge offers a variety of American classics.  Chow down on the Sample Platter for $11.49.  That’s a plate filled with Jalapeno Poppers, Mozzarella Triangles and Buffalo Wings!  The menu also boasts a full line up of wraps, burgers and sandwiches.  Try the Amaretto Chicken Salad Sandwich ($6.99) for a twist on an American staple.  Beyond the Edge even has pizza made to order.

At Beyond the Edge, choose from over 25 beers on tap. The bottled beer selection is just as extensive.  BTE offers domestics, premium domestics, imports, ciders, specialty premium Imports, and high-alcohol bottles.  Not in the mood for a brewski?  The bar will serve anyone’s favorite cocktail. Try the specialty: the Redbull Edge Bomb, $6, made with a shot of Alpen Wolf dropped into a half-pint glass of Red Bull.  BTE calls it “Kool-Aid for the Soul”.

Catch the BTE Happy Hour every Monday-Friday from 3 p.m.-7 p.m.  The bar also features drink specials for certain events like Nashville Predators games. Stop in Saturday from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. for the 2-4-1 special and $3 well drinks.
