Located in the newly renovated Edgehill Villa complex, Ventanas treats its customers to an explosion of color and culture through a wide variety of handcrafted products including: jewelry, clothing, ceramics, glassware, textiles, unique children’s gifts, as well as hand-carved wooden panels, armoires, beds and assorted rustic furnishings. Ventanas (“Windows” in Spanish) is a one-of-a-kind store where every product tells its own story. Products such as banana leaf bowls, coral jewelry and alpaca scarves and hats speak volumes not only about inimitable style, but the lives of the men and women who produced them. Currently, the store features products crafted primarily by Maya and Aymara Native Americans from Guatemala and Bolivia as well as some products from Ecuador, Costa Rica, Peru and Puerto Rico.
