Since early childhood I have expressed a true love for art. I have been blessed with the opportunity to study with some of the great masters of our time. I am pleased to have worked with local artist Shirley Pharris who introduced me to internationally known portrait artist and master pastel artist Daniel E. Greene. I was fortunate to serve as his assistant class coordinator with Shirley for his Nashville workshops. I was able to accumulate over 225 hours under his instruction in New York Nashville. I have also had the pleasure of attending workshops, lectures demos with the following master artists:

I have a passion for painting portraits and the human figure, and an equal passion for teaching those who wish to learn how to create their own art. I enjoy learning from the Old Masters and studying their techniques, and I will continue to be a student of art as long as I live. share the same desire as the great Michelangelo, Lord, grant that I may always desire more than I can accomplish.
