In 2004, I combined my love of animals, interest in people, and artistic talents into one pet portrait and sitting business called For Pets' Sake. I started advertising around my home in Anderson with business cards and flyers, and eventually created a website.  After 2 years, I moved to Nashville, and changed For Pets' Sake to Pet Art By Kate.  Since then, Pet Art By Kate has been featured in The Tennessean, Nashville's Ch. 4 News, Quick & Simple magazine, and Tennessee Crossroads!  I've created portraits for pet enthusiasts all around the country now and have learned so much along the way.  Because I love it so much, I plan to continue painting portraits and pet sitting for years to come!
