Life is a struggle. Every day presents a new challenge. You must find a way to overcome obsticles that are in your way to get where you are trying to get to. But if you have something that you can enjoy. Sometimes that can be a safe haven. Rap music, Hip hop. That's my safe haven. I've done dirt in the past as a youth. But you know its better to talk about it opposed to doing dirt. Rap music is a form of expression. It allows me to express the way I feel and my people to express the way they feel. Sometimes I get so angry I want to do something to someone but instead I just write about it. Then make me a track and bamm, there it is. The name "New Found Entertainment." I came up with that because when I first started out I was new to the game of entertainment. It's like hip hop found me on the streets of Nashville, TN and took me in, before the streets did me in. I thank god for that. Music is my passion. I lived from project to project. From dodge city to trinity hills village. witnessed many of murders and lost lots of friends due to drugs gangs ect. Lost my mom in 2003 and my exgirlfriend. Plus I lost six to eight friends in a six month period. Life is tough, but it only makes you tougher. Do I have friends?, nope. The only friend I got is god. Oh, and hip hop for taking me in.

Two-Bit Eddie

View Full Profile

TWO-BIT EDDIE was born in the fall of 2001 by Norm Rau & John Thomas as a vehicle to play their favorite music. They began as a hard-core blues band playing tunes from artists as diverse as Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Louis Jordan, R.L. Burnside, Son House, Luther Allison, Taj Mahal and others.

As players and vocalists came and went, their sound and song list evolved to fit the musician's strengths. The band began to play more R&B tunes and 60's music. As is the case with many bands, musicians came and went over the last several years until now, three like-minded souls have found a home with Norm & John ... Jim Dant, drums/percussion, Stin Fox lead/slide/12-string/acoustic guitar & vocals and Arnie Reed, keyboards & vocals.

Two-Bit Eddie offers their audiences the greatest music ever recorded ... from the rock'n'roll of the late 50's to the Memphis and Motown R&B of the 60's and early 70's, to the garage/frat rock we all did the Gator to, a good dose of tunes from the British Invasion, classic Chicago & Mississippi blues and a touch of indispensable country.

Two-Bit Eddie would really like to know what you think about the 4 tunes on this site, so give us your feedback. They were recorded by the new line-up.

You can check our up-to-date song list on the web-site. We know you'll like what you find.
