My parents lived in Nashville in the 1960s and 1970s, and I've been working in Nashville hospitality since the early 2000s. I know that there was a restaurant in this hotel, so I know the restaurant and have eaten there many times since I worked there.

It sounds clichéd, but staying at this fabulous hotel is a dream, as the 168 rooms are decorated in delightful Art Deco style. While some are housed in historic buildings, others feature modern lounges in the lobby, most of which are just a stone's throw from the hotel's main entrance. The Skye Lounge, now called Skye Lounge, has largely been preserved as an event space in the years following the renovation.
